MMG 2008 held in Indianapolis, the City of Speed!

After checking in to the hotel and registering at the MMG area, 40+ cars took an evening tour of Indianapolis.

People gathered for tours, talked to vendors and looked at other cars. Our Indy Experience winner was at the track!

There were lots of cameras on the Covered Bridge tour.

Two groups headed down to Brown County and Nashville. This area is a favorite for club events. Lots of twisties!

Some MMGers headed to FastTimes for go-kart action.

After a fun day, MMG atendees sat down to a hearty dinner.

The highly anticipated day arrived and the drive to Indianapolis Motor Speedway gets organizeed.

Our police escort shut down I-70, I-465 and Crawfordsville Road (about 17 miles!) for a large group of Miatas!

Once inside the track, the cars were staged back into their correct order and got ready to take a lap on the famous 2.5 mile oval.

Not the fastest lap ever run on the Speedway, but every car passed over the famous yard of bricks at the start/finish line.

All the cars were positioned for the group photo with the Pagoda in the background.

The IMS museum holds a lot of racing history.

A 50-50 cash drawing and then a drawing for all kinds of goodies!
